NSF Certified for Sport is run by NSF, not by the brands it certifies.

independent, third-party certification

It's run by NSF, an independent organization, not by the brands it certifies. It's the only independent third-party certification program recognized by USADA, MLB, the NHL and the CFL.

NSF reviews the formula and label, then tests the finished product. The goal: confirm the contents match what the label says.

Production lots are tested for 290+ substances banned by major sports organizations, like stimulants, steroids and masking agents. NSF adds newly banned substances as lists change.
